The ultimate goal of the fatigue diagnosis of components and load-carrying structures is to obtain data regarding service life under specified service conditions. The solution lies in solving the following three problems: to detect critical areas; to evaluate stress and strain in the critical areas of the components; to predict service life and evaluate fatigue strength.
